What is Kahoot?

Kahoot was founded in 2012 by Johan Brand, Jamie Brooker and Morten Versvik in a joint project with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Its learning games, "kahoots", are user-generated multiple-choice quizzes that can be accessed via a web-browser or the Kahoot app. 

Kahoot! also includes trivia quizzes.
